Holy Mountain

Croagh Patrick is a mountain with a height of 764 m and is an important site of pilgrimage in County Mayo, just outside the town of Westport The mountain has a pyramid-shaped peak and overlooks Clew Bay. It has long been seen as a holy mountain and is known locally as ‘The Reek.’

This print is part of my “Wild Atlantic Way” art print series, a vibrant and contemporary collection of open edition prints inspired by the many signature landmarks along Ireland’s west coast. The Wild Atlantic Way stretches 2600 kms (1600 miles) and is one of the longest defined coastal routes in the world.
